David Apollon

Co-Founder and Executive Director

David Apollon is the Co-Founder and Executive Director at 9Nation. He started the firm in 2007, ten years after he began helping organizations with their strategic technology challenges. As a consultant and partner, through firms including Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, Microsoft and United Technologies, David successfully installed cutting edge enterprise software packages, set-up Project Portfolio Management systems, updated Project Management Offices (PMOs) and established business process improvement plans. He is a triple certified Project & Program Director with a Masters in Information Systems, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Master Certificate in Senior Accounting.

In two decades, he has directed nearly fifty Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft ERP and CRM implementations. This includes programs with more than a dozen third party organizations, three hundred resources, and budgets from $5 to $65 Million dollars. Over the last decade, his focus has shifted to the Cloud. He now helps Fortune 1000 organizations select the right SaaS partners and manage their work through various implementation life-cycles. By the end of 2021, David completed twenty Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials and Supply-chain ERP programs in a dozen years.

The strategic work with client partners and providers within HCM, Finance, and Marketing has led to another core competency – Vendor Management. This has seamlessly tied right into Program Delivery since today’s Information Technology world is a group effort vs yesterday’s internal teams. 

David often serves as clients’ Executive Liaison, working between internal organizations, integration partners (such as banks, benefit providers and technology groups), and Information Technology departments. The trust formed from steering committees, Chief Executive Officers and additional C-Suite members is what is valued above all else.
